I’ve always been fond of two things—Japan and love stories.
When I learned that Tokyo Love Story (1991) started the “romance drama boom” in Japan, I immediately looked for it online. A website currently streams all eleven episodes but I want to download at least one just so I could own a vintage Japanese treasure. Haha!
I fell in love at first episode with this drama. Honami Suzuki and Yuji Oda were great here! From the globally popular Ultraman to the romance classic Tokyo Love Story, it’s no wonder that the nineties is the golden age of Japanese television.
